Trails: 30 km (19 miles) of trails are groomed for cross-country skiing (classic and skating). Dependable snow fall at the center makes it an ideal location for early season skiing. The center hosts the annual Yellowstone Ski Festival on the Thanksgiving day weekend and the Yellowstone Rendezvous Ski Marathon in early March. West Yellowstone is a gateway to many trails in Yellowstone National Park, including those at Old Faithful.
