Location of trails: Whitefish Mountain Resort is located 7 miles north of Whitefish. Take Wisconsin Ave north to Big Mountain Road and follow the signs to the resort. A free shuttle bus runs several times a day from the town of Whitefish to the resort. An Amtrak station is located in Whitefish.
