Tug Hill Tourathon Trails

Trails: 50 km (31 miles) of trails in Winona Forest are groomed for cross-country skiing by the Winona Forest Recreation Association, formerly the Tug Hill Ski Club. Tug Hill Plateau has some of the highest snowfalls in the east, averaging 250 inches per year due to the effect of Lake Ontario. The club hosts the Tug Hill Tourathon (25/50 km) in early February.
