Trails: 50 km (31 miles) of trails are groomed for cross-country skiing. This center, now called the Verizon Sports Complex, was the site of the cross-country skiing races for the 1980 Winter Olympics. It hosts the annual Lake Placid Loppet in late January and several other events, so call ahead to see if the trails are open for recreational skiing.
