Name of XC Area: Lapland Lake Times that I have skied there: Several times I last skied there in: Jan, 2004 Trails that I skied: medium and difficult xc, and parts of their snowshoe trail My favorite trails: I don't know the names, but there is a diffult trail that branches off of their main easy trail "The Lake Trail" with lots of nice hills. Trail marking: Very good Rating: 4.5 stars What I liked: The trails offered many places for pictures, benches, etc. Also they are groomed, but include a place for skating and to go around other people. What I disliked: I can't find much wrong with their xc trails, but they could use more snowshoe trails, though the ones they have are nice. Comments: "The Lake Trail" is a great trail for kids and beginners. It has raindeer and ends in a lake, which is used for boating in the summer. This trail also has flood lights for night skiing.
