Trails: At Minnewaska State Park Preserve there are 32 km (19 miles) of carriageways that are groomed for cross-country skiing. Together with the adjacent Mononk Preserve there are over 80 miles of carriageways that are suitable for skiing but some may be shared with snowshoers and hikers. There are also backcountry trails.

Location of trails: Minnewaska State Park Preserve is located about 9 miles west of New Paltz at 5281 Route 44-55, Kerhonkson. Take Exit 18 off I-87 at New Paltz, then head west on Main St (Route 299) for 6 miles, turn right on Route 44-55 and go 3 miles to the park office.
