Trails: Newberry Crater Sno-Park offers 15 km (9 miles) of ungroomed designated cross-country ski trails in Deschutes National Forest. Two Intermediate trails lead to a resort on the shore of the lake, contained within an ancient volcanic crater. From the resort, an Easy-Intermediate loop traverses the top of a nearby butte.

Location of trails: The Newberry Crater Sno-Park is located about 30 miles southwest of Bend. Take Highway 97 south for 22 miles, turn left on Paulina East Rd (Co Hwy 21) and follow it east to the Sno-Park.
