Mt. Ashland/Bull Gap Sno-Park

Trails: At Mt. Ashland there are 25 km (15 miles) of ungroomed trails suitable for cross-country skiing. A 3-mile at Bull Gap Sno-Park is rated Most Difficult and a 6-mile snow covered forest road connects Bull Gap Sno-Park to the ski center. When there is sufficient snow cover it is possible to ski 12 miles down Road 200 towards Ashland. The Grouse Loop trails at the west end of the Mt Ashland parking lot offer four more trails:
Grouse Gap Trail - 2.2 miles to Grouse Gap shelter More Difficult
Connector Trail - 2.7 miles More Difficult
Grouse Creek Trail - 1.8 miles More Difficult
Summit Trail - 1.4 miles Most Difficult

Location of trails: Mt. Ashland is located 20 miles southwest of Ashland. Take I-5 south 9 miles from Ashland to Exit 5 (Mt. Ashland). Follow the sign to the Mt. Ashland Access Road (0.7 miles) then turn right onto the Mt. Ashland Road and continue 7.0 miles to the Bull Gap Snowpark on the right, or continue 2 miles to the ski center.
