Oregon Sno-Park Permit

Advertisements

A valid Sno-Park permit must be displayed in the windshield of your vehicle when parking in designated winter recreation parking areas throughout Oregon between November 15 and April 30.

More than 100 Sno-Park areas have trails for winter activities such as cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Revenue from the sale of the Sno-Park pass covers the cost of clearing the parking lots.

Snow park passes issued by the states of Washington, California and Idaho are honored in Oregon. Oregon Sno-Park passes are valid in Washington (except for vehicles with Washington licence plates), California and Idaho.

A one-day permit costs $3. A three-day permit valid for three consecutive days costs $7. An annual permit valid for one winter is $15 (2005 rates).

Sno-Park Permits can be purchased at all DMV offices and by permit agents in resorts, sporting goods stores and other retail outlets. Agents may charge an additional handling fee for each permit they sell.

See Oregon DMV for more information.
