Trails: Three areas in Moshannon State Forest have a total of over 100 km (62 miles) of ungroomed trails for cross-country skiing:
Rock Run - 20 km of intermediate trails
Rockton Mountain - 16 miles (26 km) has three easy loops and one advanced loop
Quehana Trail - 80 km of challenging loops in a remote wilderness area

Rockton Mountain is 7 miles northwest of Clearfield on Route 153 then 2 miles west on Route 322 at Greenwood Road. Quehanna Trail is 6 miles est of Medix Run.
