Trails: At Laurel Ridge State Park 30 km (18 miles) of trails are groomed for cross-country skiing by the PA CCSA. Trails are above the 2,500-foot elevation so should receive more snowfall than other regions. Four trails are near the parking lot and a fifth one is across the highway. The ski center is open Friday to Sunday and on holidays.

Location of trails: Laurel Ridge State Park is located about 65 miles southeast of Pittsburg. Take Exit 9 off I-70/76 at Donegal, head 9 miles southeast on Highway 711, then 6 miles east on Highway 653 to the park.

My favorite trails: Yellow for fast downhill and Red for a good work-out
Trail marking: Very good
Trail grooming: Very good

What I liked: very fast trails and excellent scenery
What I disliked: nothing i can think of.
Comments: only ski Yellow trail if you are an expert skiier. state park shelters along trails!!
