Location of trails: Jay Peak ski resort is located in northern Vermont, a few miles south of the Canadian border. From North Troy take VT 105 about 3 miles south, continue a couple miles south on VT 101, then go west on VT 242 to the resort. The ski trails are at the golf course and at the base of the Express Quad lift.

What I liked: No other xc skiers on the trails.
What I disliked: Jay Peak does not set tracks for xc skiing. Jay Peak rents snowmobiles that use the xc trails. Too few trails.
Comments: We were advised to go to nearby Hazen's Notch in Montgomery Center where they have excellent trails.
