Trails: Morse Farm has 25 km (16 miles) of groomed cross-country ski trails through sugarbush and evergreen forest and across open pastures. Two loops are rated Easiest, four More Difficult and one Most Difficult. Most of the trails are one-way— ski in the direction indicated. The trails were designed by two-time Olympian John Morton. From Downtown Montpelier (Exit 8 off I-89), take Main Street three blocks from US Rte 2 to the roundabout, stay on Main and go up the hill (Upper Main Street) through the sharp left turn past NECI bulding. Great layout, nice variety of woods and field.
