Name of XC Area: Hazen's Notch Times that I have skied there: Weekly I last skied there in: Apr, 2001 Trails that I skied: All of them My favorite trails: Beaver Ponds Trail, High Meadow Trail & Notch Trail Trail marking: Very good Trail grooming: Very good Rating: 4 stars What I liked: Trails are impeccably groomed and the scenery is the absolute best in Vermont. What I disliked: Few of the trails are groomed for skating. Comments: Snowshoeing trails to summits of Sugar Hill (1,700' El.) and Burnt Mountain (2,800' El) are beautiful and provide incredible views of northern Vermont.
