Trails: Prospect Mountain Cross Country Ski Center offers 35 km (21 miles) of trails that are groomed for cross-country skiing (classic and skating). There are several trails of each level of ability Easiest, Intermediate and Expert. The Expert trails crisscross the slopes of a former downhill ski area. There are also some backcountry trails in the Green Mountain National Forest. The base elevation of 2,250 feet at the center ensures better snowcover than the surrounding lower lying areas. From the east, take Exit 2 off the I-91 in Brattleboro, head west on Route 9 through Wilmington for about 14 miles to the west side of Woodford. Most of the time there are classic tracks on both sides of the trails as well What I disliked: Comments: Best Hot Chocolate and Soup in Bread Bowls and Chicken Sandwhiches!
They have snow even when Bennington...only 8 miles down hill has green grass

My favorite trails: love the catamount and whistlepig trails, chicadee is TONS of fun too!
