Trails: Highland Lodge offers 50 km (31 miles) of trails for cross-country skiing, of which 30 km are roller-packed for both classic and skating techniques. A backcountry trail links with the Craftsbury trail system (10 km to Craftsbury Common or 20 km to Craftsbury Nordic Center), making it possible to ski inn-to-inn. Take I-89 to Montpelier, go east on Berlin St, continue 5 miles on US 2 to East Montpelier, then go 19 miles north on VT 14 to Hardwick. In Hardwick go straight on VT 15, take the first left, then first right on Church Street and follow this street 7 miles north to Greensboro.
