Trails: 80 km (50 miles) of trails link up several backcountry huts and yurts. About 33 km (20 miles) of trail are groomed. The trails are in two areas:
Champion Trail (Sno-Park) with 12 km of trails
Snow Bowl and Anderson Lake (Sno-Parks) have 50 km of challenging trails, some of which may be groomed.
Moonlight ski and prime rib dinner is held twice each season.

Location of trails: Champion trail runs from the east of Ashford to west of the town. The other trails are west of Ashford. Tire chains may be required for the mountain passes.

What I liked: Views of Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens and Mt Adams from the High Hut Trail! Staying in huts!
What I disliked: Steep trails are hard to descend when icy.
Comments: Three Huts (High Hut, Snow Bowl, Copper Creek) and one Yurt must be visited (each has its own unique personality).
