Trails: At Round Lake 21 km (13 miles) of ungroomed trails are open to cross-country skiing in the Chequamegon National Forest. Four loops are clustered around the north end of Round Lake.

Location of trails: The Round Lake trails are about 20 miles east of Fifield on Highway 70 then 2 miles north on Forest Rd 144/Shady Knoll Road. Look for the turn-off on the east side at the 90 degree bend in the road.
