Name of XC Area: McNaughton Trails
I have skied there: Several times
I last skied there in: Jan, 2001
Trails that I skied: Entire trail
My favorite trails: Entire trail
Trail marking: Very good
Trail grooming: Fair
Rating: 4 stars
Likes and dislikes: The entire trail is secluded and scenic. Never crowded. Mix of pine, hard wood, and slashings. Rolling hills; nothing too challenging. Skate loop is 6 miles and narrow in spots, but definately worth skiing. Peaceful. DNR is slow to groom this one after a snow...sometimes takes them a day or two.
