Trails: Minocqua Winter Park, one of Wisconsin's premier nordic ski centers, grooms 75 km (46 miles) of trails for cross-country skiing by snowcat for classic and skate. Approximately 30% of the trails are rated Easiest, 60% Difficult/More Difficult and 10% Most Difficult. Most of the trails are one-way – ski in the direction indicated. A 2 km trail is lighted for night skiing two evenings a week.
The Cookie Trail is a 5 km kids loop with five stops to get a card punched so that it can be redeemed for a cookie in the chalet. Minocqua is a not-for-profit town park operated by the Lakeland Ski Touring Foundation and has hosted the Lakeland Loppet for more than 35 years.

Location of trails: Minocqua Winter Park is located at 12375 Scotchman Lake Road, about 12 miles southwest of Minocqua. Comments: I have been going here sence I can ever remember and I always love coming here because it is just a nice place to be all the people are friendly and its a great place for kids too.

What I liked: scenery, well-groomed, great diversity, great for family with many levels of ability
What I disliked: Not good with map, sometimes hard to navigate level of difficulty
Comments: Great ski shop, expert advice, brought family and lessons for kids excellent in getting them started, terrific place to take family to spend quality time-atmosphere was fantastic
