Location of trails: The Washburn trailhead is located 8 miles west of Rhinelander. Take Highway 8 west, turn north on Co Highway N, turn immediately left on Washburn Lake Rd, go a couple miles north, turn right on Trout Creek Road, then look for the access road on the right.
