Trails: The Eau Claire County Parks Dept grooms 20 km (12 miles) of cross-country ski trails for classic and skating at Tower Ridge Ski Area. There are trails for all levels of skiers. A 3 km trail is lighted for night skiing on certain nights.
Trail fees: Vehicle pass $6/day (winter 2009-10) can be purchased at a self-service kiosk at the trailhead.

Trail marking: Very good
Trail grooming: Very good

What I liked: I love the scenery and I love the challenge. This trail offers something for all skill levels from beginner to expert.
What I disliked: There isn't much to dislike about Tower Ridge. Most of my bad ski days came from lack of snow and they can't be blamed for that.
Comments: I like the fact that Tower Ridge also offers snowshoeing. It gives me a chance to still get a great workout by doing something a different.
