Name of XC Area: Herrington Manor State Park Times that I have skied there: A few times I last skied there in: Feb, 2004 Trails that I skied: Red, Green and Blue Trails, Swallow Falls Trail My favorite trails: Red Trail Trail grooming: Very good Rating: 3.5 stars What I liked: Several loops make it possible to select as short or as long a trek as most people would enjoy. This is a good place to bring beginning skiers. What I disliked: Although usually well-marked, the trails are lacking signs at the first junctions from the parking lot. Comments: Even on a holiday weekend the trails were not crowded, although visitors seeking to rent skis are advised to show up early in the day.
