Trails: Ten km (6 miles) of trails at Chimney Park are groomed for cross country skiing on a weekly basis. About 12 km (7 miles) of trails in the Lower Snowy Range are groomed occasionally. The cross country ski trails at the Snowy Range Ski Area are no longer open. There are plenty of backcountry skiing opportunities throughout the Medicine Bow National Forest.
