Trails: Ten km (6 miles) of trails at Chimney Park are groomed on a weekly basis for cross country skiing. About 12 km (7 miles) of trails in the Lower Snowy Range are groomed occasionally. The cross country ski trails at the Snowy Range Ski Area are no longer open. There are plenty of backcountry skiing opportunities throughout the Medicine Bow National Forest. There are also groomed trails nearby at Pole Mountain.
