Name of XC Area: Casper Nordic Center Times that I have skied there: Several times I last skied there in: Dec, 2003 Trails that I skied: All My favorite trails: North 40 Trail marking: Fair Trail grooming: Very good Rating: 5 stars What I liked: Scenery, terrain, and layout are fanatastic. They have a lit 1.2K loop for night skiing. It is cheap, and you practically have the place to yourself. It is great!!! What I disliked: Nothing. Really! Comments: There is no lodging right at the trails, but they have built a nice looking trail center that is not quite open yet. It is about a 15 minute drive up a mountain from town. The town is Casper, which has ok lodging options, but don't expect a resort like atmosphere, restaurants, etc.
Just a great place to relax and ski!! Submitted by: John English from: Date submitted: Dec 21, 2003
