Worldloppets and BirkebeinerCanada's Keskinada Loppet and the American Birkebeiner are two race in a series of 14 Worldloppets held in various countries around the world. As in all Worldloppets, skiers are seeded into a starting wave according to results obtained in previous loppets. Medals are awarded to top male and female finishers in their age brackets. At the end of the year, those who accumulate the most points earn the Worldloppet title. Masters Ski RacesAnyone 30 years or older can compete in a Masters race. Skiers vie for medals awarded in five-year age brackets. Masters events are usually held in conjunction with regular races such as the ASM series.
