Events are open to all skiers unless otherwise noted. Unless specific dates are listed, the event has yet to be confirmed for this winter.

North Routt Coureur des Bois Steamboat Springs Choice of a 42 km course and the 90 km ultramarathon over hilly terrain. Both courses are groomed for classic but still are physically demanding and white-outs from blizzards are possible. The 90 km course is extremely challenging with 6,500 feet of climb along the Continental Divide Trail at elevations up to 10,000 ft, $65-$90 + $3 CORSAR Card (2008)
Yellowstone Ski Festival West Yellowstone
Events include skate and classic clinics for skiers of all levels, gear demos, an indoor Ski Show, a 100-meter sprint, kids camp, Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 2-mile run, and the NorAm XC Supertour races

Ben Ali Haggin Mile High Nordic Ski Race 1-19 km Anaconda
1, 2, and 5 km for junior and novice skiers, 9 and 19 km races on a fairly hilly, technical course, at the Haggin ski trails. Free pizza buffet and awards ceremony for all entrants.
"Free Dog" Nordic Race Swan Lake

Equinox 24 hour Ski Challenge West Yellowstone, MT Mass start endurance race; team relays and solo entrants; freestyle technique; 6 hour, 12 hour, and 24 hour divisions; proceeds go to Manaia Youth Programs and the West Yellowstone Ski Education Foundation; $40-60 (2008)
