Early Mar	The Great Ski Race Spooner Lake Inaugurated in 1976, 30 km (18-mile) race from Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area to the town of Truckee, groomed for classic and freestyle, proceeds to fund the Tahoe Nordic Search & Rescue Team, $45/$65 (2009) includes t-shirt and lunch
